Summary of facts
S.M. attended the Nova festival. He managed to flee the festival despite heavy fighting and gunfire, while others were killed. He first took refuge in Kibbutz Saad and again escaped gunfire.
He finally took to the road on October 8 and managed to escape a dangerous check by refusing to stop at a fake police roadblock manned by attackers.
Amnesty International France recalls that everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty according to law.

<p>October 29, 2023: S.M. filed a complaint with the Crimes Against Humanity Unit of the PNAT (National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor’s Office) for “crimes against humanity” against Hamas and its military wing, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades. A preliminary investigation was opened on terrorism charges.</p>
