Summary of facts
Journalists’ unions denounce the material, administrative and security obstacles imposed since October 2023 on French journalists wishing to cover the situation in the Gaza Strip, as well as the working conditions of journalists in the West Bank. The unions also denounce “a serious attack by nearly fifty Israeli citizens” armed with “firearms, gasoline cans and sticks”.
Amnesty International France recalls that everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty according to law.

<p>In December 2025: The International Federation of Journalists and the Syndicat national des journalistes file a complaint against X for obstruction of the freedom to practice journalism in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and for war crimes targeting French journalists.</p>
