Summary of facts

In May 1994, while the UN had imposed an embargo on arms sales to Rwanda, the Banque de France allegedly did not freeze the account of the National Bank of Rwanda and allegedly approved transfers totaling 3.17 million francs (about 486,000 euros), which allegedly facilitated the arming of the Rwandan genocidal forces.

Amnesty International France recalls that everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty according to law.
