Summary of facts
A video from January 2024, posted on social media on March 19, 2024, shows Israeli soldiers unloading a Palestinian detainee from a truck, shackled and blindfolded, apparently with a rope around his neck, while other men are crammed into the truck – presumably prisoners of war, according to NGOs. The person filming the video, allegedly Yoel O., a French-Israeli soldier, can be heard insulting the detainees in French.
Amnesty International France recalls that everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty according to law.
